To become a new member, fill out the below application form/s and return to us in person or via manager@kynetonrsl.com.au
Membership renewals are available from 1st November every year.
Members will be emailed and sent reminder texts as the deadline approaches—renewals must be completed by April.
Service Membership
$15.00 per year or $40 for 3 years
Membership for currently serving members is free.
Service Membership of the RSL is for anyone who is currently serving or has served in the ADF or any of Australia’s allied armed forces. Service membership offers serving and ex-serving personnel mateship and comradeship with others of similar life experiences.
The Kyneton District RSL believes that your service is an invaluable contribution to our country, so when you turn 80, we subsidise the cost of your membership.
Service Membership criteria

Must be 18 years of age or over;
-
Has served in any of the Australian Defence Forces in any conflict;

Has served not less than six months in the regular or reserve Australian Defence Force;
-
Has completed a period of National Service in the Australian Defence Force;
-
Has served in the Defence Forces of any country that is a part of the Commonwealth;
-
Has served in the Defence Forces of the New Zealand or the United States of America;
-
Is an Australian citizen and has served in the Defence Force of any country allied to Australia
AFFILIATE Membership
$15.00 per year or $40 for 3 years
Affiliate Membership is a type of RSL membership that caters for family members of serving and ex-service men and women. It is also available to members or ex-members of the police, fire brigade, ambulance service, and SES. Its purpose is to provide a form of RSL membership that maintains the “bloodlines” of those who have served their country in both peace and war.
Affiliate Membership Criteria

Must be 18 years of age or over;
-
Related to any Service or Life Member of the League;

Related to a person who, at the time of their death, was eligible for Service Membership of the RSL.
The relative may be a spouse, blood relative, step relative or in-law of the person eligible to be a Service member.
Also for serving and ex-members of the:

Police Force

Fire Brigade
-
State Emergency Service

Ambulance Service

Bronze medallion member of a Surf Life Saving Club

Corrections/Prisons Officer (A minimum of six months full-time service)
SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP
$15.00 per year or $40 for 3 years
Social Membership is for individuals who wish to participate socially in their local RSL Sub-Branch. It provides the same benefits as Service and Affiliate members; however, the right to vote on RSL matters does not apply.
Social Membership Criteria
Must be 18 years of age or over;
Community Membership
$2.00 per year
Regular visitors are required to take out a community membership.
MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL
Membership renewal reminders will be sent via email on the 1st November every year – text reminders will be sent closer to the April deadline.
Payment for membership renewal can be made by either sending or transferring funds, or paid in person at the RSL. Accepted payments include cash, EFT, cheque, and the use of any accumulated RSL Rewards points, or a combination of cash and points.
In addition, memberships can be renewed online using your credit or debit card, or RSL Rewards points, by logging onto rslrewards.com.au.

FAQs
No. Members of the community are welcome to join as Social members, which allows them to access all member benefits.
Yes. The club has a dress code at all times. No singlets and no hats. Neat Casual dress.
Yes. Children are welcome to visit the Club with a parent or guardian, but must not enter the gaming room.
Children must remain with their parent or guardian at all times while in the Club. The Beersheba Bistro has a children’s menu.
Victorian Liquor Licensing regulations stipulate that anyone entering the club who is not a member must sign in upon entry (unless under 18 years of age). You can request a Community Membership for $2, which allows you unlimited entry to our club without the need to sign in, but does not provide any of the member benefits.
Yes. You don’t have to be a member to purchase a gift voucher for use at our Club. Our vouchers are valid for use up to 4 years from the date of purchase.

You can earn and redeem points at participating RSLs across Victoria. If you’re purchasing a meal or a round of drinks, you will be rewarded! You will be rewarded for every dollar you spend, so the more you spend, the more rewards you will enjoy.
Being a part of RSL Rewards also gives you entry into competitions and prize giveaways. Swipe your card when making a purchase in the Sub-Branch.
How to join the RSL Rewards Program
It’s simple! If you are an existing RSL Member, you’re already a part of the RSL Rewards Program.
If you’re not an RSL member, why not join today (anchor link) and ensure that you get rewarded. Simply sign up to become a member. All you need to do is complete the membership form. A staff member can enter your details on the spot, print your membership card, and you’re ready to go!
You can now use your card in the RSL Rewards Kiosk to enter competitions and find out your points balance. Start using your card today and earning points now! The more points you earn, the higher the rewards.
