REMEMBRANCE DAY

At the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11thmonth in 1918, the guns on the Western Front fell silent after more than four years of bloody warfare.

Of the 330,000 Australian troops who served overseas during World War I, over 60,000 were killed and more than 150,000 were wounded. The Kyneton RSL commemorates the day with a solemn ceremony at 11am at the Cenotaph.
